Soap making is in Beth Tildesley’s blood.  It was passed down through the generations by Stella McNaught, her maternal grandmother.  As a child, Beth recalls watching Nana Stella  make soap in the basement of their home in Brookline, Massachusetts.  She was fascinated by the cans of tallow and boxes of lye lined up on the shelves and even more amazed when they were transformed into big chunks of soap that promised to take the stain out of just about anything.  Those big chunks of pure, natural soap still live on even though Nana Stella has long since passed.  These are among the family’s most valued treasures.

Laid off shortly after the tragedy on 9/11, Beth set out making soap and Bubble 'n Squeak was born.  She soon discovered she was armed with great passion and a creative flair for making products that exceed even the most discriminating customer's expectations.  Soap and bath crystals soon made way for lotions and potions, whipped shea butter, body whip, and many other delightful concoctions.  Beth stays true to her commitment to quality by creating formulas that are natural, nearly natural, and petroleum, mineral oil, alcohol and paraben free.  

By the end of its' second year in business, Bubble 'n Squeak had matured into a full service natural body care enterprise.  In order to better represent her product line, Beth left her humble beginnings behind and renamed her business BodyTopia.   She involves her daughters, Elizabeth and Mariah, wherever possible.  They provide invaluable advice and feedback on product development, marketing strategy, and presentation.  Elizabeth and Mariah have lent their names to products - "Fizzy Lizzy Bath Bombs" and "Mariah's Lip Balm".  Both daughters are present at many events and are product knowledge experts.

Beth knows how important it is to be in constant contact with her clients.  That’s why she’s often the first person you’ll meet at BodyTopia.  She has been known to follow up personally with clients who have specific needs or skin conditions requiring special attention.  Beth says it's her customer's satisfaction that drives her.  She knows there's nothing better than knowing her products have helped change the quality of her customer's skin.
